On the outskirts of Wroxham, there is a 50 acres park called Bewilderwood – a perfect destination for all those who are looking for a way to spend holidays with children and to avoid the commercial side that characterizes many other theme parks. Here you will not find any special effects or modern technologies. Bewilderwood is wood with lots of simple and fun activities. Children love climbing trees, crossing rope bridges and building dens and hiding out in treehouses – all these is possible here.

The park was designed by Tom Blofeld, a talented local author who writes stories for children. That is why Bewilderwood is considered to be a fairytale place, with lots of magical creatures who came from the book pages. Children love them!

Though the park was created to entertain children from five to ten year old, parents can enjoy it as well. Adults can take part in some fun activities with children or just have a great rest in the woodland. One of the most loved ways of spending time here is gazing into surrounding trees to forget about the rest of the world.

One of the most popular attractions for kids is the stories they can hear during the boat trip. It makes them really happy to explore the world of Boggles and Twiggles while listening to the story of Swampy the Marsh Boggle.

Though BYO picnics are popular here, you can visit one of three (or all of three, as you wish) cafes where you can buy some sandwiches, snacks, and hot food. What is more, you can find a low-key gift shop to take something as a keepsake. There are books, soft toys, fridge magnets, hats, and costumes.

The price varies on a child’s height: free entrance for children under 92 cm,  £13.50 for 92–105cm, and £15.50 for children and adults over 105cm. Considering the fact that you can spend in the park the whole day, have a lot of fun and to make your children happy, the price is definitely worth it. Still, as the park offers outdoor activities, it is always better to come here when the weather is fine. To learn more about the park, its events and activities, visit the website:
